Bafana defender Olwethu Makhanya, 22, made an immediate impact on his Rangers debut in Scotland.

Mofokeng Scores As Union Go Top

Relebohile Mofokeng was on target as Royal Union Saint-Gilloise thumped Westerlo 5-1 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League opener.

The 21-year-old found the net and helped Union go top of the table after Matchday 1.

Puso Dithejane on Chicago Fire

Puso Dithejane came off the bench in the 69th minute and changed the game for Chicago Fire in MLS.

The youngster grabbed 2 assists to help Fire secure a 3-1 victory over Santos Laguna.

Kabini Logs Minutes For Molde

Samukelo Kabini also featured in Norway, playing 73 minutes for Molde FK against Kristiansund.

Miguel Cardoso says Thapelo Maseko has turned down the chance to rejoin the Mamelodi Sundowns squad, with the 22-year-old attacker now pushing for an exit. Speaking after Sundowns’ latest training, the CAF Champions League-winning coach confirmed that talks had taken place but Maseko made his intentions clear. “There are no personal issues between us,” Cardoso said. “We had positive discussions recently. But Thapelo has told us he wants to leave.” Cardoso: "I Don't Work With Unwilling Players" The Sundowns boss made it clear he won’t force the issue.  “I prefer not to work with players who don’t want to be here,” Cardoso added. “The door is open if he changes his mind and wants to stay and fight. But right now, the decision is with the club.” Maseko, 22, has been linked with a move away after struggling for regular game time at Chloorkop. He was given an opportunity to rejoin first-team training, but has reportedly rejected the offer.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has confirmed that Monnapule Saleng is no longer training with the first team after repeatedly breaking club rules . The 27-year-old attacker has been absent from Sundowns duties for some time, and Cardoso says the club has taken action.
